Trip Track it ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Parked it. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Trip Track it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data – name and email address when you sign up.
  • Vehicle & trip data – GPS coordinates, timestamps, distance, and purpose labels for each recorded trip.
  • Usage data – browser type, device type, and anonymised interaction logs used to improve the service.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide the trip logging and reporting service.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. password resets, subscription receipts).
  • To improve product quality through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (e.g. dark/light theme). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

4. Data storage & security

Data is stored on servers within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and trip records are permanently deleted within 30 days.

Financial transaction records (e.g. subscription payments) are retained for as long as required by applicable accounting and tax legislation, even after account deletion.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Receive your data in a portable format (data export).
